Tidewater Academy is a Division III school in the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association (VISAA), and is a member of the Virginia Colonial Conference (VCC). Tidewater’s boy’s and girl’s Cross Country Team is made up of 6-12th grade students. The Team competes weekly throughout the season both within the Virginia Colonial Conference and at various invitational meets. Our XC program is designed to train, educate and inspire both first-time athletes and seasoned runners willing to work hard. Our program builds not only strong bodies, but strong hearts and minds.
Our XC Program aspires to instill in every runner a deep sense of integrity, honor and selflessness. Our XC runners develop an enduring self-confidence, genuine humility and an enthusiastic pursuit of life-long learning.
