A Parent’s Guide to Financial Assistance
Tidewater Academy is proud to offer affordable and competitive tuition rates to all our families. We are also proud to provide financial assistance to eligible families in need. Our Director of Admissions is available to assist you through this completely confidential process. Tidewater Academy currently partners with the website Student Services Solutions to ensure confidentiality and equity. Assistance is available for students who are enrolled in Kindergarten through Grade 12, and all financial assistance grants are determined based on financial need. Please know that Tidewater Academy has a strong commitment to providing assistance to our families. However, applying does not guarantee that you will be found eligible for financial assistance nor does being eligible guarantee the grant will be fully funded or available. We also consider our school-specific policies, practices, and available budgets, all of which impact determination of eligibility. In order for new families to be considered for financial assistance, all information must be on file in the Admissions Office and turned in before the enrollment contract is signed. All information received in the Admissions Office is considered confidential and it is expected that all information sent from said office will remain confidential. Our Director of Admissions is happy to answer questions and assist families in all aspects and steps of the application process. To contact our Admissions Office, please contact our Director of Admissions, Emily Pittman, at 757-899-5401 or email e_pittman@tawarriors.org.
